Here’s a list of essential devices that will spice up your next speech/essay

Enunciating

Rhetorical devices

Alliteration: repetition of vowel sounds

amplification: ideas aranged in an increasing order of importance

Analogy: [like/as comparision

Anamnesis: recollection of the past

Anaphora: Same word or phrase begins with more than one statement

Antithesis: Two ideas are placed in opposition

Ethos: Character

Speech needs to be effective

Reptation /demonstrated knowledge

Pathos: Experience/sufferage

Shared value between speaker and audience

Asyndentation: not using ‘and’ in a list

Humor: only to be used occasionally

Inclusive language: We and Our Trustworthy

Metaphor: Word phrase wont literally apply

Parallelism: using similar gramatical structure

Repetition: Return to ideas often

emphasize a single idea

Highlight a specific word idea
