when the words

long to leave

the parched mouths

craving freedom

when the desire

burns all around

turning black and blue

setting fire

when the mind

fills with whispering voices

feasting upon

the remnant truth

when the arm

stretches out

but is held back

by those rusted chains

when everything fails

all is gone waste

put a full stop in my life’s story

for it shall never begin again

when all my energy

is exhausted

closing those mouths

clearing those minds

comforting with lies

and extinguishing fires
